Happy 300th!
Much love goes out today to Matt of The Whomping Willows. Tonight, he’s playing his 300th show in North Carolina with Draco and the Malfoys, Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills, The Blibbering Humdingers, and (maybe) Gred and Forge. Thanks for all those shows through the years, and here’s to another 300!

Question Tuesday
I’m sorry about stumping everyone with my question last week! I hope you find this week’s to be more answerable. After a conversation about wizard metal yesterday, I got to thinking about bands that haven’t put out any new music for awhile. So, your question today is: Who do you want to make a wizard…

It will be split into four sections: “Dumbledore,…

Most people know the story of how wizard rock started, with The Switchblade Kittens‘ song and then the DeGeorge brothers’ backyard concert. Of course, like most music, wizard rock…

Question Tuesday!
Thanks to zivlok, who emailed in this week’s Question Tuesday idea! Which characters need more songs or bands about them or from their point of view? My favorite character happens to be Sirius Black, so I’m going to go with him. I know that there are some songs about him (‘Honorary Marauder’ by Tonks and…
