Welcome once again to Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Jam, a monthly creative challenge for those who love wizard rock. Last month’s theme was the liminal, and at the end of this post is a message about the coming month.

For many of us, October has been a liminal time itself—a transition between summer and winter, a time of change in personal lives, and a time between Every Flavour Jams.

Sagan of Candle Wix was an exception to the last bit, writing a verse about Kreacher being caught between the Black family and the Order of the Phoenix, to the tune of “I Get Around” by the Beach Boys:

I’m gettin’ bugged when I’m livin’ in 12 Grimmauld Place
I got these mudblood traitors all up in my face
I’m passing all the Order’s secrets to Lord Voldemort’s men
Now if they’d stop trashing up my mistress’ house again

For November’s theme, let’s go more concrete and think about letters. Whether that means letters sent between characters, letters you want to write, letters of the alphabet, or something else is up to you!
