Grace Kendall (they/them) organizes the annual Wizard Rock Sampler and runs @wix_rock on Twitter. They started writing emotional acoustic wizard rock back in 2005 under the name Snidget and keep the sad jams coming to this day.

    The first wizard rock band I really loved was OBatR in 2007. I had heard a smattering of wizard rock that year, some HatP and DatM mostly, and I didn’t connect to it (at the time). But when I heard Happy Christmas Day on Jingle Spells, my appreciation and love for wizard rock finally clicked, and I was able to see all of the beauty and joy of the genre. The first wizard rock shirt I ever bought was even an OBatR shirt! I appreciate all of their work immensely and am very happy it exists in the world.
