Flashback Friday – The Curse Breakers

For this week’s Flashback Friday, let’s all give a listen to Jessie and The Curse Breakers!

The Curse Breakers only released one EP, which also came with a homemade bookmark and a Hufflepuff bracelet (or at least it did when I bought my copy, anyways). While Jessie is no longer making wizard rock music, she is still making plenty of Harry Potter-related crafts which can be viewed and purchased at her Etsy store, The Wrock Shop. You can still get a copy of the Curse Breakers EP as well.

I discovered wrock in 2006 and fell in love with it completely in 2007. After fronting a band that played too loud & sang too out of tune but got to perform at Wrockstock anyways, I traded in the guitar and drums for a keyboard to help with the ‘pedia. You may still hear (or see) me bashing away on the drums for other wrock bands.

    Yeah, I like this song. It’s not the best songs call “The Battle of Hogwarts”, as there are at least ten different versions, but this one’s good. It’s comes up for me all the time on last.fm when I’m listening to wizard rock.

    I consider her EP one of the best EP’s of Wizard Rock. I loved almost every track.

    I tried to get her up to NYC once but airfare was too pricey =(
