Now, I’m absolutely horrible for taking so long to post this, but I wanted to recommend that all of us Wizard Rock fans and Community members (if you will) take a few minutes out of our busy days to help out a fellow Wrocker, friend, and student.
Kelli of the Sweetwater All-Stars and The Wrock Blog is writing her Master’s thesis on Wizard Rock and would love your input! She needs as many people involved in Wizard Rock to fill out this questionnaire as possible.
Here’s the catch… we only have through May 10th!! I know, I’m terrible! I meant to put this up much sooner! In any case, if my words haven’t convinced you, read a bit from Kelli herself on what this is all about!
Basically, I’m writing about how participants in the Wizard Rock community may be experiencing different components of the community differently. I’m looking at things like the roles of gender and sexualilty or social activism, of course, but I’m also interested in any experiences people are having that are contrary to conventional community rhetoric.
I’m encouraging people to be as honest in their responses as possible – since no real names or specific contexts will be mentioned from any of the answers to protect everyone involved. I’m not just interested in the journalistic fluff answers that I can find all over the web – I want to really know what people are experiencing during their time in the Wizard Rock community. If that’s what they are experiencing, wonderful. If it’s not, I want to hear about that, too.
