This Muggle Music Monday features Freezepop, who I discovered when they opened for Cibo Matto at a show in Boston. About a year later, one of my biggest regrets was not buying their CD when I saw them, because I couldn’t find it anywhere. I eventually found the CD. Fast forward a few years, and Guitar Hero 2 is released. Lo and behold – Freezepop was on it!
Freezepop’s music is not hugely profound, but their energy and catchiness make up for it tenfold. I find it to be so much fun that it’s almost a guilty pleasure to like it so much.
