Hi guys! Sorry about the hiatus last week. Did you know that last week was the first time we have ever skipped a Question Tuesday since I started doing this?

Even more amazing than that – today marks the 1 year mark for it! I thought it was something I would do for just a few weeks to get people used to commenting, and then move on. I had no idea it would turn out to be so much fun to come up with these questions or to read your responses. I think we have had some pretty outstanding discussions because of this, and I just wanted to thank you all for participating!

To recognize this (and because it’s finals week and I have zero brainpower left), I thought it would be fun to revisit the first question again. My answer has changed – has yours?

What wizard rock songs get stuck in your head most often?

Lately, it’s been ‘So It Begins’ by Tonks and the Aurors and ‘All I Think About’ by The Moaning Myrtles with Adam Dubberly.

    Lately it has been Power ‘Puff boys by The Half Kneazles. Thats just lately. The one that most often returns would be Wizard Rock Heart Throb 😀

    Lately, it’s been ‘O.W.L.s’ from the Myrtles’ Bathroom Acoustics EP. I literally walked around my classroom singing it for 3 days straight.

    For me it changes almost every day, depending on what I’ve been listening to (or just thinking about), but lately, ‘Precious Days’ by The Remus Lupins seems to be following me. It keeps coming up everywhere, and I’ve been going around singing it to myself on and off for days now.

    Last week I had Chapter 34 in my head for like 3 days. It’s beautiful, but it always makes me tear up… so that was a slight downside.

    Usually, I would have to say that the songs that stick in my head are by the Moaning Myrtles but more recently Old Enough to Die by MoM has gotten stuck in my head a lot…

    Well, I seem to get stuck, in my head whatever song I listen to right before I left for school in the morning, but I have to say that Krum by JFF, the Power of Love by Draco and the Malfoys, and Ode to Broom by the Mudbloods are probably the ones that get stuck most.

    Oooh, Peeved wins with Expelliarmus kid! He’s got a way cool scar! Expelliarmus kid! Just don’t let him fly your car! It’s one of the ones that makes people edge away from you when you just HAVE to sing it. But I don’t care.

    I also get Thestrals In Heat by DatM stuck in my head 24/7. Also, Transparent by the Myrtles was stuck in my head for like three months after touring with them in June. 🙂

    Getting songs stuck in my head is mostly a daily occurence for me, but it’s always more than one song or band, it’s like my brain likes to make mixtapes or something. I can’t even say who gets the most “airtime”, but one incident of this stands out in my mind…
    The night JFF played at WS08, I had “KRUM” and “Umbridge is Dumbridge” playing as an epic mash-up over and over in my head, to the point that I couldn’t sleep that night. It was kind of awesome, but the not sleeping part sucked. One day, I shall attempt to cover these songs and bring the mash-up to life, because it was freaking awesome.
