This #WrockWednesday, I want to share with you a band that I first discovered in the process of running the Wizard Rock Peoples’ Choice Awards this past year. For those unaware, Art Baum helped Freya and I out to a major degree (thanks again for your hard work!!!), so he was in on all of our discussions regarding what bands we wanted to nominate on our own ballots. At this point in the conversation Art asked, “Have you listened to The Ginny Potter Revelation yet? She’s a new band for 2008.”

So I naturally went to have a listen and knew that Art wasn’t just onto something, but he had given me a key to glory. Such glory that the first thing I did was purchase all of her songs off her Myspace page.

I love each and every song of hers, but I enjoy one of them so much that I had it set as my ring tone for about 3 months. This song is ‘Ginny vs Cho’, detailing Ginny’s relationships leading up to Harry.
