It’s NaNoWriMo season again! Discuss it with other Wrockers! There is now an official thread for wrockers doing NaNoWriMo on the NaNo forums. Also, there is a NaNo thread on the Wrockstock forums.
The Harry Potter Alliance UK is up and running. Blog, chat, get your band out there, put your events in the calendar and, most importantly, do it for charity!
Josh of The Bandon Banshees is trying to throw together another compilation album for the holidays. The idea is to distribute the album digitally and either gather all-new original material from bands, or re-release the previous holiday compilation with additional, new submissions to enhance the holiday compilation. If you are a Wizard Rock band and are interested in submitting a song, contact Josh.
Harry and the Potters have several upcoming shows including a special performance on Halloween in Chicago.
Alex of The Remus Lupins and Luke and Jason from Ministry of Magic have formed a new band, The Oceanic Six, based on the show LOST.
The Proper Use of a Rubber Duck has returned to Wrock after a long hiatus and will be playing at Protego 2010.
Diagon Alley currently has songs available for download and also will be performing in Chicago on Halloween.
