This #MuggleMusicMonday, I’m going a little outside the bounds of what is expected. Yes, it’s music I’ll be sharing with you, but it’s not a band I am sharing, but a web series. I make it no secret that I am a big nerd in many ways outside of just my extreme love of Harry Potter and Wizard Rock. While I have not played a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play Game) since my days on Battlenet playing Diablo II (which was about 8 years ago for me), I do enjoy a game of Dungeons and Dragons when I have the time and there’s a game about. Based in some ways on this style, World of Warcraft has been taking over the world, it seems. If you are a player of WoW or just enjoy a game of D&D every now and then, you would be a prime candidate for “The Guild“, the web series created by Felicia Day.

The reason I bring this up on #MuggleMusicMonday is because, first and foremost, the music they’ve released from it is awesome and hilarious, and I have had their most recent song stuck on repeat in my head since it was released. The best part about this, though, is the fact that I really don’t mind. It’s not a song that provokes me to consider alternative means to drill out of my head (‘It’s a Small World’ however…), but a song that brings a smile to my face everytime I think of it.
