Freya and I have discussed lately some more ways to bring Wizard Rock into all of our lives. I started noticing the blip.fm phenomenon (where you get to be the “DJ” and link friends to music that is already hosted free online). It was a combination of blip.fm and the trending topics on Twitter that made me think “#WrockWednesday! Wouldn’t that be cool!?” Fortunately for me, Freya agreed and here we are! But as a cherry on top, we have also decided to incorporate #MuggleMusicMonday!

I know, I know…. there’s already a #musicmonday on the Twitter scene, but #MuggleMusicMonday will be focused on three kinds of bands: 1) Muggle bands of Wrockers, 2) local Muggle bands that aren’t well-known, and 3) bands that the staff are listening to a lot and feel like it would be beneficial to share! So if you are a Wrocker with a Muggle Music persona, please let us know and we’ll feature your music some Monday!
