Many times in the past, the Wizard Rock community (and the Wizrocklopedia specifically) have worked in coordination with the Harry Potter Alliance to spread awareness, raise money, or just have a good time for a good cause!

Freya and I are extremely excited to continue this working relationship with the HP Alliance and have jumped on board with the latest big HP Alliance campaign, What Would Dumbledore Do (WWDD)? This campaign asks us to reflect on the life and death of Albus Dumbledore, considering what lessons we have learned from him directly or through how he chose to live his own life.

Both of us have taken some time to write about what we learned from Albus Dumbledore, making connections back to Wizard Rock (naturally), and have posted them in the HP Alliance Common Room. In an effort to look more at the Dumbledores in our lives, the HP Alliance is encouraging us all to start tweeting on Twitter about the lessons we have learned and just anything in general about Dumbledore using the hashtag: #Dumbledore

So here’s the #Dumbledore challenge! I am personally issuing it to all Wizard Rockers and all Wizard Rock fans. If you have time, write a blog about what you have learned from Dumbledore. If you are on Twitter, start using the #Dumbledore hashtag and help make it a trending topic! Wizard Rock has been a perfect medium for sharing the lessons of Dumbledore (‘APWBD’ anyone?), so let’s not stop there!
