There’s a new compilation CD out for your listening pleasure. All You Need is (Wizard) Love is now available! The CD includes 14 tracks of your favorite wizard rockers playing Beatles’ songs in a slightly more wizardly fashion than you may be used to.

It’s not a true wizard rock comp without a cause, though. The proceeds from this compilation are going to help fund Wrockstock staffer Rose Creek’s trip to Africa. Rose plans on spending two to three months in Zambia, teaching English and living at a boarding school there. Rose’s childhood friend lives in Zambia, and so she was inspired to see what she could do to help. The program she is working with, Pestalozzi World, is dedicated to enabling “education for poor children in poor countries”. Donations to them go to creating scholarships for kids aged 8-18 to be able to go to school. Without these scholarships, these families wouldn’t be able to afford to send them to school. Without volunteers like Rose, these schools wouldn’t be able to educate as many kids as they do. Unfortunately, Rose is responsible for her plane ticket and any expenses to live in Africa. That’s why she needs our help to get there.

When I asked Rose what she thought of the community coming together to make this album, she told me she was, “overwhelmed by gratitude! I already loved the wrock community but now I truly feel like the community loves me back. I want to thank everyone who is helping me with buying the CD, joining my Facebook group or just wishing me well! I truly appreciate all the support.”
