Plenty of people pack their things and head for a warmer clime during their spring break. Others stay home and catch up on schoolwork. Steph from Tonks and the Aurors will be spending hers driving across the (probably) snowy Midwest and East Coast to bring some new music, a new tshirt design, and plenty of wrocking to you.
Her tour is titled “Alive in Love”, and part of the proceeds from the shows will be going to To Write Love On Her Arms. Check out their website here to learn more about this cause. There will also be a donation jar at the shows for you to contribute more directly to TWLOHA.
Even though it’s not Cancun, Steph is still stoked about her spring break plans. “I really hope people can get as excited as I am about this tour, since I think it’s going to be a great experience…especially since I don’t tour very often, and love playing shows for new people!” She is playing in two cities she’s never played before – Cary, NC and New York City, which should hopefully mean new faces in the crowd.
As if it weren’t enough to see Tonks and the Aurors, there will be other guest stars along the way, too – Wild Magic, The Blibbering Humdingers, “an entire army of NY WizRock bands at the NYC show”, and Tom Riddle and Friends. The Pittsburgh show is still a little lonely, so if anyone is interested in playing there, please let her know! Steph says, “I currently don’t have a tour partner, I’m looking to add more bands to most of the shows on tour.”
Maybe you’ve seen Tonks and the Aurors before and can sing along to every song. Never fear – there’s something for you as well. “I’ll probably be playing a lot of stuff off of the EP I’ve been working on. I’ve already been playing a new song about Charlie Weasley at shows, but I’ve got some other songs up my sleeve that I think everyone is going to love.” Plus, there’s a new tshirt design, to go along with the ones you already love.
One final reason to check out this tour? “I’ve also got some surprises up my sleeve for a few of the shows. I think the house parties might see a slight change in format from the way I usually play shows.”
All tour dates and venues can be found on her MySpace here.

I hope the show from Cary NC at Camelot Treasures will be broadcasted on BlogTV. Please please please ! It’s the only chance for us European Wrockers to watch live shows.
-
I concur! Please do broadcast it!
European Wrockers, like Olivier said, count on blogTV to see you guys live!
So if you can broadcast it, please don’t hesitate because even if we have to stay up ’till 4am we’ll be watching you and cheering (silently tough^^) -
I’ll third that plea! BlogTV shows really are very highly appreciated by us Europeans… It’s our only chance to join in on the fun!

Yes, Olivier, et al. We plan to broadcast the Camelot Treasures show on BlogTV, again. Probably on HPHorsegirl’s channel. Nancy, could you confirm?
I expect we’ll have some Hawthorn & Holly, and maybe even some Half-Kneazles.
