Wizard Rock Starter Pack

A lot of music blogs and websites put together digital albums. When summer began, I started putting together something called the Wizard Rock Starter Pack, a collection of wrock music for experienced and new fans alike. The Starter Pack is available for your listening pleasure and can even be downloaded.

The 75 song pack has 67 streamable tunes from bands whose music covers a wide spectrum. Also included are live tracks from some of wizard rock’s best.

You can use the player below or visit the Pack’s page at Archive.Org.

The player will be available on our Downloads page. A link to it will be added to the sidebar sometime this week.

More “albums” like these are a part of the Wizrocklopedia’s future!

    This is totally awesome. I just sent it to a couple of my newbie friends. I wish the play showed the name of the song and the band so a newbie know what bands they like to check out further.

    Yeah, me too. There aren’t any options you can edit, unfortunately. If they download the songs, however, (which they can do individually instead of all of them) the ID3 tags will tell you who the artist is in iTunes. Probably.

    This is fabulous! It does say exactly who it is in iTunes, which is great because I can help along my Wizard Rock library. I love this, it’s definitely a great way to get acquainted (or re-aquainted with0 Wizard Rock.

    When we do the next compilation the information on sending in songs will be available!

    There’s a ZIP folder link on the left hand column of the page. That should download them all at once.

    Click on the Archive.Org link. You can download the songs individually or find the ZIP links in the left hand column to download them all at once!

    Well for me at least, the ZIP file, the one that says “WizardRockStarterPack_336_vbr_mp3.zip” – when it opens it only has “Divination” in it.

    The last list of songs, the one with illegal love potion won’t open in my iTunes. They’re labeled as .m4a instead of mp3. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? and lol Zivlok ^_^

    I can still only get “Divination” for download (loving it of course, if you’re reading this G&F)…. Can someone please write down a procedure “how-to-download-the-whole-lot-for-complete-idiots”, maybe I’ll stand a chance then.

    I tried uploading another zip folder but it took 30 hours and still wasn’t done. I’m going to upload the zip to our server instead in order to get it work. In the meantime, you’ll have to download the songs individually.
