HP-WI ANNOUNCES “WELCOME TO HOGSMEADE”

a Harry Potter Themed Event featuring a huge Wizard Rock concert

LITTLE CHUTE, WI — March 27, 2008 — The HP-WI committee for Welcome To Hogsmeade, a Harry Potter themed event to be held August 4th, 2008, has announced “Get Ready for the first ever Wisconsin Harry Potter festival, WELCOME TO HOGSMEADE- “This Year The FOX CITIES WROCK!”

Take a trip to the magical world of Harry Potter this summer with HP-WI & the Little Chute Park District, as we present the first year of “Welcome To Hogsmeade,” right here in Little Chute, Wisconsin!

Get ready for an entire day and night of non-stop fun, education and entertainment! There will be Harry Potter themed food and drinks, HP games and prizes, a magician and an all day Wrock Concert featuring some of Wizard Rock’s biggest and hottest stars. We’ve got a huge talent lineup, coming together for one of the biggest shows of them all. Hogsmeade also means great food, great shopping.

Wisconsin, get ready to PARTY LIKE A WIZARD!

    Do you guys, honestly, have to cut down everything I do? Sorry it’s not till August, but I wanted to get the word out now. And I didn’t see anyone saying anything when Terminus announced the wrock lineup with “For Immediate Release”…just curious….

    i didnt cut down anything you did denni. i thought it was funny though that it was so formal is all 🙂

    i think most times that people make light of the way you do things its because you try to present yourself as more professional than you need to be. wizard rock is a pretty casual scene, and wizrocklopedia isnt the normal mainstream media where you need to grab attention to get free advertising for your event. its a site run by chill fans, that is excited to report on the show youre putting together, and the iwzard rock scene is one that is excited to hear about it.

    if i put up a blog that started with “for immediate release”, im sure that most of the comments would tear me up for it.

    the concept of sending a formal press release to wizrocklopedia just made me chuckle is all. i wasnt making fun of your advertising ahead of time. its a great idea.

    My apologies, I mistook what you were saying. Just a little stressed over here, big things happening! Starting my tour next friday, and leaving for Orlando today and leaving the kids with grandma, never been away for a week before. But thanks alex, your truely an inspiration.
