“Something Sinister” is how this week’s song has been described. The title is “Such He Was Made” and it is as creepy as can be. It tells the story about a boy named Tom Marvolo Riddle before he became the biggest threat to the wizarding world. It starts with his mother’s death, “she didn’t leave him much but gave him a name, Tom Marvolo followed by the Riddle and such he was made,” continuing to where “he felt him better than the rest,” and then to when a man who “‘wore a long beard and had a gentle physique,” came to tell him about Hogwarts.

The lyrics make this song one of the best and it’s eerie music keeps your attention throughout. It conveys Tom’s loneliness as well as how he “knew that someday he would rule it all and live as a king.” This is a fantastic song by Edgar & the Family Bones.
