The Remus Lupins Versus the Ice Storm

Illinois paper The Daily Chronicle published an amusing article this past weekend about the weather and The Remus Lupins’ recent adventures with it while performing at NIU’s Muggle Ball. According to the story, “They broke a credit card and nearly shredded their fingers while scraping ice off the windshield of the car, which was parked in a visitor’s lot at Northern Illinois University on Saturday.” The rest of the article can be read right here.

The Wizrocklopedia suspects the dangerous precipitation was the work of dark wizards, but the Ministry was unavailable for comment.

    I decided that facebook commenting was the way to go on this… I basicly told Alex that only he would get into a paper for being cold and covered in ice… hahahaha

    All those friends from New England and no one bother to teach these boys how to properly deice a car? I mean the Malfoys sure, they’re probably laughing at them, but Matt? Couldn’t pull your buddy aside at some point and give him the break down? For shame!

    Alex, they called it a defroster for a reason. Start the car, blast the stuff on high. And let it take care of the hard part. And for god sake, always have a scraper with you. They’re like $2 at every gas station in 75% of the country.

    Scraper? Just make a little porthole in front of the driver. The rest will come off as you drive!

    Dude, I am from Wisconsin and was there- this was no blast the defroster ice- this was get a freaking hammer and a chisel ice! But seriously, despite the ice scraper injuries, they wrocked!
