Aberdeen Student Radio to Host Another Wizard Rock Segment

We received this official press release from the organizers today:

The Aberdeen Harry Potter Show is back! Airing live this Friday, the 7th of December between 12noon and 1pm GMT, the Show shall be bringing you music from top wizard rockers such as Severely Snaped, Switchblade Kittens and Draco and the Malfoys. We shall be discussing Dumbledore’s homosexuality and the effect that this will have on the perception of the books and the character as well as reviewing the Order of the Phoenix DVD and conducting interviews with wrockers Ginny and the Weasleys and the webmaster of thesnitch.co.uk.

    Going off topic from everything today, Aberdeen Scotland! Are you joking, harry potter people there! Why does nobody tell me this stuff!!! 4 months and nothing! Now I can go back and be happy, woo!

    Lay,

    in answer to your surprise, this radio show is produced by the Aberdeen University Harry Potter Society.

    The society meets Thursday 7pm on Kings College Campus in Taylor building room A36. You don’t have to be a student but you do have to be over 17 years of age.

    we r pretty special. only one in Scotland :p

    I have a feeling we may also be the only HP radio show as everything else seems to be podcasts. The difference being that podcasts have the luxury (and it is a huge luxury) of being pre-recorded. We have a studio and lots of confusing bits of technical equipment which I have to make sure not to do anything silly with!

    I’m just wondering how I missed this when I was there. How long do you think you will keep doing this? I hope awhile that way I could finally see people in aberdeen other than my parents.

    Radio shows are fun, I will cheer you all on!!! I am still shocked that this thing was 5 seconds away from me and I never knew!
