WRPCA Voting Polls Open!!

Without further ado, because I know that so many of you are dying to know who’s nominated, the polls are now open. You have until the 23rd to make your decisions! Please read instructions carefully.

Questions and comments can be directed toward the senior staff, who will be unavailable until Monday due to the incredible wrock shows taking place today and tomorrow. Take a gander at the show info in the sidebar to the right. Anyone and everyone in the Mt. Kisco, NY and Bethlehem, PA areas should come out for the majorly wrocking parties that are about to occur.

    Alright I’ll be the first to say I don’t understand. I’m already registered to the wizrocklopedia site so where do I go? If I click on the links it takes me to MySpace sites.

    OMG, it’s not counting some of my answers! For “Best Female Vocals”, it said ” Invalid Poll ID Or Poll Answer ID. Poll ID #3, Poll Answer ID #15.” It said something along the same lines for “Best Album of 2006”, “Best Song of 2006” and “Best Duo”. I’m afriad to push “vote” for “Best New Artist” and “Best Male Vocals” in case it doesn’t count. I took the rest, though. :\

    Problems with wizrocklopedia that are extremely frustrating:
    1. Your email link doesn’t work on my computer. It would be helpful if you put the ACTUAL email address on your news page so I could contact you in a more personal way than in a comment on your page and hopefully you read this otherwise I’m screwed (run on sentance)
    2. The email wasn’t sent to me. This happened to me last time and my sister couldn’t even nominate anybody because no one got back to her urg. I reallly want to nominate please help! sorry if I sound like a bitch but that’s why my username is narcissa malfoy biatches.

    Hey Kimberly, I had the same problem for the last few options for me too, but now when I return to the page, it says “thanks for voting” while all voting choices remain. Hmmmm.

    aw, i’m really sorry for all the problems people are having. i wish i could fix them for you, but lizz is the webmistress/webtech. also, we were away this weekend covering live wrock events, so if anyone is still having problems, we’re back now and will be doing everything we can to make things better!

    I believe that all the problems mentioned above such as no check boxes, or only the “thank you for voting” text happen because voters have tried to vote without registering. If you go to the page with the polls, the paragraph at the top has a link to “register.” If you click that and sign up with an account, when you refresh the page you will see check boxes that enable you to vote. Registering may seem like a drag, but we wanted to make sure everyone votes once and we hope you understand we want to try our best to ensure fair, and therefore more enjoyable, people’s choice awards.

    Click the button to register, make sure you are logged in, and then go to the polls page.
