We were contacted by Josh of The Bandon Banshees today concerning another wizard rock compilation the band will be organizing. With a hopeful release of July 7th, 2007, the album will have a “summer” theme. Here is what Josh had to say about the kind of material they’re looking for:

“The theme is basically summer: having the best/worst summer, searching for horcruxes, the summer that you got ice cream smashed in and around your face, leading you to become a Deatheater; anything at all related to summer in the slightest.”

Proceeds from the sale of the CD will go to a currently unchosen charity (most likely one that promotes reading). Bands and fans interested in participating can contact Josh through The Bandon Banshees’ MySpace.
