Harry and the Potters announced to the world yesterday a new charity project entitled The Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club. This amazing endeavor will benefit First Book, “a non-profit organization that gives children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books.” Subscribers to the club will receive 12 CDs from 12 artists in 2007, two at a time, six times throughout the year. Each subscription costs $50 and sales will be limited to 750 subscriptions.

Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, The Hungarian Horntails, The Remus Lupins, Remus and the Lupins, Roonil Wazlib, The Parselmouths, Ginny and the Heartbreakers, The Fleur Delacours, The Marauders, Voldemort, Dumbledore are the artists set to release EPs.

The first two releases of the year are from The Hungarian Horntails and Voldemort and will be shipped in late February.
